Australia architectural services market increased by 11% annually during 2000 to 2010
Architectural and Engineering Services in Australia: ISIC 7421 - a new market research report on 2014-04-02 06:33:01
Over 2000-2010, the Australian market for architectural and engineering services experienced a healthy average 11% growth annually. This was mainly because of the booming housing and mining and energy industries, with the market under review reaching a value of A$52 billion in 2010.

From 2000 to 2010, the reviewed market nearly tripled in value, being in a significant growth stage. The reviewed market is highly dependent on demand from the construction industry. Consequently, growth diminished in 2009 and market value stagnated. The construction industry experienced a slowdown during the global economic turmoil but this was counterbalanced by booming energy exports and sustained demand from the mining industries.

In 2010, the majority of purchases were attributable to B2B sales, which accounted for 76% of industry value with this share being six percentage points higher than in 2000. Another 19% of industry value stemmed from capital purchases in 2010.
