St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, October 01, 2013 /FSC/ - Bluedrop Performance Learning Inc. (BPL - TSX Venture), announced today that it has been named a subcontractor on a $14 million contract led by Calian Technologies to support the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) for omnibus courseware production services. The value to Bluedrop is approximately $4 million over the duration of the contract. The contract award will require Bluedrop to provide approximately 20 highly qualified personnel in Atlantic Canada.
The contract was secured by Calian Technologies Ltd. (TSX: CTY) to develop and support courseware projects by providing eLearning production, distribution and related support services to the Army Learning Support Centre (ALSC). Bluedrop and the project partners have been providing
eLearning services to ALSC since 2007, and this contract expands upon those services with the addition of a full cadre of eLearning support services.
