Lodging locations in particular have higher-profile branded outlets than other locations.
All locations in consumer foodservice saw declining outlet numbers in 2012. The prolonged economic recession dealt a further blow. Chained operators tried to rationalise their portfolios, and independents struggled to survive the harsh competition.
