Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, February 22, 2013 /FSC/ - Strongbow Exploration Inc. (SBW - TSX Venture), reports that Eira Thomas has resigned as a director of the Company due to other business commitments. Ken Armstrong, President and CEO of Strongbow stated: "On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Eira for her service to the Company. I am pleased that Eira has agreed to act as an advisor to the Company so we can continue to benefit from her advice and guidance moving forward."

Strongbow also reports that Xstrata Copper Canada has notified the Company that it will not continue with its option to earn an interest in Strongbow's Inza property, British Columbia.
