Aurora, Ontario CANADA, January 23, 2013 /FSC/ - Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. (TOE - TSX Venture), ("Tri Origin" or "The Company") has received final results from its recently completed diamond drilling program at the RLX gold property located 20 kilometres southeast of Red Lake, Ontario.

Six holes totalling 818.5 metres of drilling were completed at the northwest part of the property. The holes were located in overburden covered areas targeting induced polarization (IP) geophysical anomalies delineated during 2012. Of the 6 holes, 3 intersected between 2% and locally up to 15% of sulphide mineralization over intervals ranging from 3 to 15 metres in core length. The remaining 3 holes did not explain the cause of the targeted IP anomalies. No

significant gold values were returned from assaying of samples taken from the sulphide-bearing sections of drill core. The alteration and rock types intersected have provided important information to better understand the complex structural relationships typical to geology of the Red Lake District which may be responsible for some of the targets missed and will be of benefit in targeting the next phase of exploration.

RLX is a gold exploration project covering an area of 141 square kilometres located at the southeast part of the 20 million ounce, Red Lake Gold Mining District contiguous with Goldcorp Inc.'s Red Lake Mine property. The property is subject to a 4 year, earn-in option agreement with Osisko Mining Corporation ("Osisko") which may earn a 51% interest in RLX by fully funding a total of $5 million of exploration over a four year period. The drill program comprises the final portion of the $600,000 first year exploration expenditure commitment agreed to by Osisko.

The program at RLX was conducted by Mr. Frank Kendle, an exploration geologist who has more than 24 years of experience in mineral exploration. Gold assaying was conducted by SGS Laboratories ("SGS") at its lab in Red Lake, Ontario which is certified for the work undertaken. A fire assay/atomic absorption method on 30 gram samples was used. Samples were prepared for assay by SGS from sawn, NQ-size drill core taken from continuous intervals of drill core, generally of 1.0 metre in length.
