GENIVAR Inc., (GENIVAR) an engineering consulting services company, has completed the acquisition of GRB Engineering Ltd. (GRB), a provider of engineering and project management services for the oil and gas industry.

The transaction complements GENIVAR's engineering and design, procurement and construction management (EPCM) business and will enable it expand and strengthen its engineering and project management services offerings to better serve companies in the oil and gas industry.

John Nielsen, senior vice-president of GENIVAR, said, "We are very happy to welcome the GRB team as it fits very well in our development strategy and strengthens our leadership both in Alberta and in the oil and gas industry.
