Indonesia non-metal waste recycling market forecast to expand by 5% CAGR during 2013 to 2018

Indonesian recycling of non-metal waste and scrap market amounts to slightly more than Rp1.8 trillion at end of 2012, seeing -2% CAGR over review period. Industry´s production output decreases almost 30% over 2007-2010, rebounds slightly to reach Rp1.4 trillion in 2012.

Industry´s productivity, as reflected in turnover-per-employee ratio, declines sharply in 2010. Due to decreasing B2B costs, profitability grows over review period, reaching 23% in 2012. Indonesian Government commits to begin tackling environmental problems in Indonesia and raises expectations for overall faster development of the industry. Industry expected to see 5% CAGR over 2013-2018.
