Indonesia Renewables Market: New market research published
Indonesia Renewables Report Q1 2014 - a new market research report on 2014-04-02 15:49:02
We forecast non-hydropower renewable generation in Indonesia growing by 13.6% in 2014.

This is higher than the five-year historical average growth rate (8.1%) due to a surge in solar projects. We note that the government is also likely to pass a bill in 2014 which would have positive and long-lasting effects on the geothermal sector. Our long-term outlook for the Indonesian renewable energy sector also remains bullish as we continue to see solid fundamentals for growth.

While our forecasts for non-hydropower renewable generation in particular are higher than the five-year historical average growth rate, we note that growth will occur across the spectrum of renewables technologies in 2014, with opportunities for project developers and equipment manufacturers in solar, geothermal, wind, and biomass energy.
