Makprogres doo, with its Sonceva Dolina rice brand, remains the leading player in dried processed food in Macedonia in 2012 and 2013, accounting for a retail value share of 12%. Second and third ranked, respectively, are Riscossa Srl and Maks Strumica doo, with value shares of 6-7% and 5%, respectively, in both 2012 and 2013. Barilla Holding SpA ranks fourth with a 5% value share in both 2012 and 2013, followed by Podravka dooel, closing the list of top five companies within dried processed food.
Retail constant value sales and volume sales of dried processed food are both expected to achieve a CAGR of 2% over the forecast period, reaching MKD2.7 billion and 16,500 tonnes, respectively, in 2018.
