It was a windy day on the mountain today with winds gusting in the 60 mph plus range. The forecast calls for the wind to continue into the night but to die down in the morning with gusts dropping down to 20 mph.
We will be open tomorrow morning at 8am for skiing and snowboarding on lifts #2 and #3 as well as scenic rides to the Top of the Notch restaurant and snow tubing.
Tomorrow expect groomed packed powder conditions out on the hill with some nice wind buff where the snow
has been accumulating during the last 24 hours of high winds. Also be on the lookout for firm spots where the wind has blown away the snow.
The forecast this coming week is calling for clear skies and warm temps. Every day this week is looking like a great day to come up.
