2014-01-10 06:19:01 - Full-Service Restaurants in Turkey - a new market research report on companiesandmarkets.com
In 2012, due to the wide dominance of independent local companies, value share in full-service restaurants was very fragmented. The vast majority of independent outlet value sales were owned by Middle Eastern full-service restaurants. Local companies were also present in pizza full-service restaurants. Therefore, international companies held low share overall.
International players were dominant in chained Asian, and Latin American full-service restaurants. The international player TGI Friday´s, which was the only company under North American full-service restaurants, closed down its outlet in 2012. Additionally, the company also added new pizza types to its menus in 2012, such as Pizza Pizza Kofteli Pizza, which is pizza with meal balls, and Pizza Pizza Eko Pizza, which is economy pizza with only three toppings
that costs TL8.50 for a medium size.
