Rockwell Collins has partnered with Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) to provide its Sub-Net Relay (SNR) solution for the US Navy fleet as part of the PEOC4I Battle Force Tactical Networking program. Rockwell Collins is the sole provider of SNR, a technology that makes it possible to establish mobile ad hoc, Internet-Protocol (IP) networks used for tactical data exchanges, enhanced situational awareness and collaborative planning utilising existing communications systems onboard naval vessels today."This award to equip US Navy ships with SNR further solidifies SNR´s position as the IP networking system of choice for interoperability among joint and coalition naval forces by providing a common standard for collaborative planning and sharing of tactical information," said Bob Haag, vice president and General
