Nissin Systems of Kyoto, Japan introduces the ECHONET Lite HEMS Server Development Tool, using Skkynet's technology for data integration and display.
Toronto, Ontario CANADA, March 05, 2014 /FSC/ - Skkynet Cloud Systems, Inc. (SKKY - OTCQB),( www.skkynet.com/) ("Skkynet" or "the Company"), a global leader in real-time cloud information systems, is pleased to announce a collaborative effort between Nissin Systems of Kyoto, Japan and Cogent Real-Time Systems Inc.( www.cogent.ca/), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Skkynet, to provide data integration, programmability, and web-based HMI support for Nissin's ECHONET Lite Home Energy Management System (HEMS) Server Development Tool. The HEMS tool installs on any PC, and can be used to control and optimize energy usage for new and existing homes.
"This is the first tool
of its kind, a technical breakthrough with immediate benefits to any homeowner," said Mr. Toshiaki Ishikura, Executive Officer of Business Solutions at Nissin Systems. "Now anyone can have a fully ECHONET Lite-compatible home energy management system (HEMS) simply by installing this software."
Running on an ordinary Windows(r) PC, the HEMS Server Development Tool leverages Cogent's DataHub(r) to aggregate data for monitoring and controlling appliances like air conditioning, lighting, and water heaters connected to smart meters, solar panels, electric vehicles, batteries, and fuel cells. Web-based control panels can be built with drag-and-drop simplicity, using Cogent's WebView(tm) technology, giving homeowners a way to conveniently manage their home energy usage.
"The HEMS Server Development Tool is an excellent application for Skkynet's secure cloud technology," said Paul Thomas, President of Skkynet. "Nissin Systems is clearly a pioneer in putting the benefits of cloud-based real-time data integration into the hands of the average homeowner."
