London, Ontario CANADA, October 04, 2012 /FSC/ - Tribute Resources Inc. (TRB - TSX Venture), ("Tribute") announced that a Notice of Intention to make a Normal Course Issuer Bid has been filed with and accepted by the TSX Venture Exchange to purchase up to 3,441,061 (a maximum of 5%) of its issued and outstanding Common Shares 68,821,223 Common Shares as at October 4, 2012 in a twelve-month period. The Issuer Bid will commence on the 13th day of October, 2012 and will terminate on the earlier of the 12th day of October, 2013 and the date on which the maximum number of Common Shares are purchased pursuant to the Issuer Bid. Purchases of Common Shares under the Issuer bid will
be effected through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange at the market price at the time of purchase.
The Corporation's board of directors and management believe that from time to time, the market price of its common shares may not reflect their underlying value and that the purchase of its common shares may represent an appropriate and desirable use of corporate funds. Tribute intends to fund the purchases out of available cash.
