Hepsiburada means "all in here" in Turkish, which implies that consumers can find all kinds of products in the online store. The company benefits from its first-mover position in internet retailing. Its site has become popular as consumers can avail themselves of a wide variety of products, especially electronics. In addition, the site is well publicised in magazines and on television, and it offers numerous promotions, including free delivery or longer payment instalment plans.

The number of companies offering online sales is increasing in Turkey, following the demand of Turkish consumers. With rising usage of computers and the internet, as well as smartphones, more and more consumers have started to look for online shopping options. Although sales growth was not so strong during 2009 when the financial crisis impacted, better economic conditions resulted in strong growth since 2010 and in 2012 internet retailing saw another good performance with value sales growth of 44%.

Internet retailing is expected to see a CAGR of 16% in constant value terms over the forecast period, which is much slower than the review period CAGR of 33%. While increased internet usage and a higher number of companies offering online shopping services will ensure that internet retailing will continue to enjoy high growth rates, these are unlikely to be at the levels seen over the review period when many companies started up internet sales.
