The UK toilet care market has been forecast to decline at a negative compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 1% through to 2016, decreasing from a valuation of Â£207 million in 2011, to reach a market value of Â£193 million.All categories within the toilet care market are set to shrink, with particular losses for the smaller and outdated areas such as in-cistern devices, toilet care mousse/foam and toilet cleaning systems.Sales of toilet care products increased by less than 1% in current value terms in 2011 with several categories showing a decline.Toilet liquids, which constitute 66% of the total toilet care industry, however, showed growth of 2%, driven primarily by power brands such as Domestos Zero Limescale, Domestos Total Blast and
